ContentSketch is a workspace for planning, creating, scheduling, and tracking social posts. This policy applies to the ContentSketch website and app at contentsketch.com.
Information we handle
- Account details: information returned by your sign-in provider, such as a user identifier, email address, and display name.
- Workspace content: ideas, drafts, post text, schedules, selected destinations, uploaded media, and publishing or delivery records you create.
- Connected account data: authorization tokens and the names or identifiers of social pages and profiles you connect. Tokens are stored encrypted.
- AI settings and requests: provider API keys you choose to save are encrypted. If you ask an AI provider to help write a caption, your prompt and any selected image are sent to the provider you selected to answer that request.
- Basic technical data: session information needed to keep you signed in and information required to protect and operate the service.
How we use information
We use this information to sign you in, operate your workspace, connect social destinations, create and schedule posts at your direction, show delivery results, answer support requests, and protect the service. We do not use your workspace content for advertising.
Services that process information
Firebase Authentication verifies sign-in. When you connect a social account, the relevant provider (currently Meta, LinkedIn, or X) processes authorization and publishing requests under its own terms and privacy policy. The hosting and database services used to run ContentSketch process information on our behalf. If you enable an AI provider, the prompt and selected media are sent to that provider for the requested generation. Their handling is governed by their own policies and settings.
Cookies and browser storage
The app uses an essential sign-in session cookie to keep your workspace authenticated. Authentication providers may also use browser storage or their own cookies during sign-in. ContentSketch does not currently configure advertising or third-party analytics cookies. See our Cookie Policy.
Retention and deletion
Session records expire. Connected-account credentials remain until you disconnect the account or ask us to remove them. Unscheduled uploaded media expires after 72 hours. Media attached to a scheduled post is retained until publishing and expires 72 hours afterward. Posts, drafts, and delivery history are kept to provide your workspace and its history until deletion is requested or retention is needed for security, legal, or operational reasons. Backups may take additional time to expire.
Your choices and requests
You can disconnect a social account in Channels. To ask for access, correction, or deletion of personal information, email [email protected] from your account email where possible and describe the request. We may ask for information needed to verify your identity. You can also request deletion on our Data Deletion page. You may need to separately revoke ContentSketch access with a social or AI provider.
Security and transfers
ContentSketch uses HTTPS for connections and encrypts stored social tokens and saved AI provider keys. No online service can guarantee absolute security. Service providers may process information in countries other than your own, subject to their infrastructure and applicable safeguards.
Children
ContentSketch is intended for people who can lawfully create an account and use the connected social services. It is not designed to collect information from children who are not permitted to use those services.
Changes and contact
We may update this policy as the product changes. The date above shows when it was last updated. Questions or privacy requests: [email protected].
